Dr. Myers has been serving the NH seacoast since 1989, as a founder of Seacoast Area Physiatry and medical director of the Portsmouth regional hospital rehabilitation department, bringing innovative methods of diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries and diseases.
Most recently he brings to New England the musculoskeletal ultrasound(MSKUS), a new and effective method of evaluating and treating often difficult to diagnose disorders. After training at Thomas Jefferson University with one of the pioneers in the field, Dr. Lev Nazarian, Dr. Myers has performed thousands of diagnostic and interventional ultrasounds.
Dr. Myers is now performing in-office MSKUS guided procedures for treatment of common, but stubborn injuries such as tennis elbow, calcific tendonitis, plantar fasciitis and others. Dr Myers was recently certified in musculoskeletal sonography by ARDMS, the American Registry for Diagnostics in Medical Sonography.
